How to read the revenue list

Sensor Tower states global mobile game consumer spending hit about $7.1B in January, +1.4% MoM. By region: US 31%, China (iOS only) 16%, Japan 13%. Always pair that with the store-coverage footnote — sideload / alternate Android markets are out of scope.

Honor of Kings reclaimed #1 on revenue, driven by the Sun Wukong Fighting Buddha Wushuang skin, new hero Da Yu, and the S42 season refresh. Last War: Survival Game, MONOPOLY GO!, Royal Match, and Whiteout Survival round out the top five named in copy — MOBA + SLG + match-3 + board IP, not one genre.

MONOPOLY GO! rose one slot on an extended Harry Potter live-ops cycle (racing events, short challenges, co-op partner hooks, sticker-album finale). Game for Peace (Peacekeeper Elite internationally) climbed 19 places to re-enter the global revenue top 10, tied in the post to the Twilight Rose Shadow God Suit quest line and a spring update (Volcano map, Metro Royale expansion).

Downloads vs revenue

Global downloads ≈ 4.2B, +5.4% MoM. India 14.4% (~607M), US 7.9%, Brazil 7.1% — geography for installs ≠ geography for IAP.

Block Blast! stayed #1 on downloads; Sensor Tower cites a 21-day Space Rocket puzzle marathon. ROBLOX held #2 via marketplace events plus the official KPop Demon Hunters Netflix crossover. Free Fire, Pizza Ready!, and Subway Surfers fill #3–#5.

On download growth, Heartopia (#1) led avatar life-sim adoption in the US and Southeast Asia; Goose Goose Duck (#2) showed social-party resurgence in Asia. Arknights: Endfield launched in January and ranks high on both download growth and revenue-growth callouts. Tile Explorer appears in both the downloads top 10 and growth top 10.

The post also highlights Genshin Impact (mid-Jan banners + Archon Quest), Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle (11th anniversary), and Tencent titles Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, Delta Force, and Naruto Mobile — these are momentum stories, not the same as total January grossing rank.
